About Me
About My Partner
I have never understood the idea that a woman becomes more interesting by pretending she needs less. Less attention. Less emotion. Less laughter. Less affection. Less of everything, just to look independent and uncomplicated. I am not very good at that game. If I am happy to see someone, it usually shows. If I care, I pay attention. If something makes me laugh, everyone nearby will probably know about it. And when a person matters to me, I don't see much sense in acting as if he doesn't. Of course, I have my own life, opinions and boundaries. But independence, to me, has never meant becoming emotionally invisible. I actually think there is something brave about remaining warm in a world where people often try very hard to look unaffected. Maybe that is one reason I decided to try a dating site. I am not interested in calculating who should write first, who waited longer to answer or who managed to look less interested. If I meet a man I genuinely like, I would rather enjoy it than turn it into a strategy. The same is true for love. I don't expect a relationship to erase two individual lives and turn them into one. But I do want it to be a place where affection is allowed to be obvious. I think life becomes unnecessarily complicated when people feel something good and immediately start trying to hide it.
Horseback riding. I love the special mix of freedom, trust and adrenaline it gives me.
I want to meet the man who will make me wonder how we managed not to meet sooner. And then see what we can build from there.
